Part Art & Part Science

The Navigating the Retirement Risk Zone (NRRZ) system is designed to help you systematically put a plan into place that you can execute year over year and go to sleep at night knowing you’ve done everything you can to optimize the areas of your financial life that you can address.

Reach Your Peak

We call our system Navigating the Retirement Risk Zone.  It’s an education-based process that is designed to help you make confident financial decisions through a lens of comprehension rather than faith.

Too often consumers are called upon to make decisions based on "trust" or "faith". Our opinion is that this is an unreasonable expectation, especially when it comes to something as sensitive as your financial future.

But with the right education and knowledge, you will make decisive decisions that you fully understand and are fully confident in.

These reviews were left on Google Reviews by current and previous clients. No reviewer was compensated. Reviews are not representative of every client experience.

You are unique

There is no such thing as a "one size fit's all" plan.
You need someone who hears you. You deserve to realize not just the minimum possible, but the best vision of your financial future.

Phase 1. Explore PeakFP

Before you become a client, you’ll schedule a "Navigating the Retirement Risk Zone" call with our team to see what working with us is like. This appointment will provide the accountability you need to gather your financial data in one place. During the call, we want you to teach us how you think about money, what you want your money to do for you, and about the money decisions you've made thus far.

We will help answer any questions you have, review our fee structure, and determine if we are a good fit to work together. If we are, you will sign the necessary documents to become a client and start your journey through the NRRZ system.

Phase 2.  Onboarding

We need to screen before we can diagnose before we can prescribe. We will guide you through an assessment process that will help create a baseline against which we can measure the results of our ongoing work together.

Once the baseline is created, we will craft scenarios to review with you that will clarify the ways you can optimize your financial plan. Over the course of the onboarding phase, we will meet to review income, investments, taxes, and estate planning. Our goal will be to fill in knowledge gaps, identify action items, and discuss the trade-offs of each possible action item. The onboarding phase completes when we arrive at a consensus plan of action for the following 6 months, at which point we move to implementation.

Phase 3.  Implementation

A plan is meaningless without action.

The implementation phase is all about "getting things done". We help you take care of the urgent and important "high leverage" action items that are the focus of the plan created during the onboarding phase.

We do lots of handholding and make sure you feel fully supported along the way.

Phase 4.  Ongoing

It's not uncommon for us to meet a new client 7-10 times in the first year of work together as building their "financial house" is critical to get right!

The onboarding and implementation phases can be thought of as "building your financial house". With the house built, we can now focus on the ongoing maintenance that keeps your financial house operating smoothly.

We meet every client a minimum of 3 times per year to review their plan, track appropriate benchmarks, and adjust their plan as life changes (which it will!). In between these regularly scheduled meetings, we are always a phone call, text, or email away.

Let us show you what's possible.
